Teddy Richards
Teddy has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years and has been on her personal fitness journey for the past 17 years. She fell in love with Pilates while studying Physical Therapy in Los Angeles, California. She worked under an amazing trainer who encouraged her to pursue her passion for fitness, and gained experience doing PT work for her collegiate peers. She believes the fundamentals of Physical Therapy and Pilates go hand-in-hand, so falling in love with Pilates was easy.
Teddy has since explored the world for new Pilates techniques and ideas. She discovered the Stott Pilates method and earned her instructor certification in London. She holds dear the 5 basic principles of Stott Pilates: breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular movement and stabilization, and head and neck placement. She believes that in understanding these 5 basic principles, no exercise is impossible! Teddy looks forward to helping her clients reach their physical and mental health goals.
